Happy Earth Day 2024! Here’s our commitments to sustainability

Sustainability is a huge topic of conversation within the Commercial Cleaning Industry. We understand that our clients are consistently looking to reduce their carbon footprint and generally becoming a more eco-friendly within the workplace. We’re here to support our clients on this.

We are an environmentally friendly focused business and proud of the changes we have made to ensure our services are being provided with the planet in mind. It is important to stress that this has not impacted on the performance or level of cleaning achieved. We have worked hard over the years to establish the following within our business:

• All of our cleaning detergents and materials are environmentally friendly and fully recyclable. Some of the packaging is also made from ocean plastic! Our bottles can also be returned to our supplier in many cases for recycling and annual data reports can be provided
• Concentrate dosing systems are used across all sites – reducing plastic waste
• Our products are fully vegan and undergo no animal testing
• We do not use single use cloths – all launderable, colour coded microfibres (unless specified in laboratory environments, whereby we use a high quality alternative to a jeye cloth which not only has antibacterial properties but leaves streak free finishes and can be used for longer periods than a standard disposable cloth)
• Mopping of floors is carefully considered with various options avaliable such as launderable mop heads and pulse mopping
• Probiotic cleaning products are used in high use office / meeting room areas. These provide on-going health benefits to our team whilst being used
• We do not use aerosols
• We do not use bleach
• Encourage central recycling stations
• Clear training and induction given to all staff to ensure waste is disposed of correctly
• Within our review meetings with clients, suggestions are made to clients to reduce their carbon footprint
• Wide range of sustainable consumable products manufactured with a METSA accreditation
• Invest in good quality, long lasting equipment – partnered with KARCHER
• Overall, working closely with our team to create a healthy workplace and a culture of sustainability
