Recent Project: Professional Deep Clean completed at Ickworth Church

We recently had the pleasure of completing a Full Professional Deep Clean / Spring Clean throughout St Mary’s Church, Ickworth. Ickworth Church is the oldest building on the Ickworth Estate. The Ickworth Church Conservation Trust (ICCT) was founded in 2006 by the Marquess of Bristol to restore and safeguard the church and churchyard. ICCT’s objectives are to conserve, maintain, repair and administer the former church and churchyard of St Mary’s, Ickworth, Suffolk, for the benefit of the public. In 2012-13, after six years of research and fundraising, the church was restored thanks to generous grants from the Heritage Lottery Fund, English Heritage and other donors. Today, ICCT’s main focus is to keep the church in good working order, and ensure it is open and can be enjoyed by the general public.

Our quota of works included both high level and low level cleaning, damp wiping fixtures and fittings, polishing all wood panels / staircase with beeswax, a professional window clean both internally and externally, all Carpet and Upholstery cleaned throughout and chancel floor was cleaned and sealed with a matt finish sealer etc to name a few.
